Byrne Pelofsky Co-Founders Jeffrey Byrne and Lisa Pelofsky rubbed shoulders with Governor Laura Kelly and U.S. Representative Sharice Davids at the Victory Fund Champagne Brunch on September 15. The Victory Fund’s annual visit to Kansas City celebrates open LGBTQ leaders from across the Midwest and the movement’s progress in the region. There was much to toast to this year, particularly sending Sharice Davids to Congress in last year’s Rainbow Wave.
The Victory Fund is a non-partisan political action committee. It provides strategic, technical and financial support to openly gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and queer candidates and officials across the United States running for all levels of government. Its partner organization, LGBTQ Victory Institute, offers programs and training to elected officials.
Jeffrey and Lisa are proud to support this important organization, providing necessary resources to make sure LGBTQ individuals are represented at all levels of government.
