Byrne Pelofsky is delighted to feature the work of our client, Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) located in Clinton, Missouri. GVMH is a leading rural healthcare organization providing access to highly trained medical specialists that provide a full-range of services. Since 1972, GVMH has been providing compassionate, friendly, quality care for patients close to home. Over the years, GVMH has been committed to maintaining and enhancing the quality of patient service.
To that end, GVMH approached Byrne Pelofsky last year to assist with a $6,000,000 capital campaign to bring radiation oncology services to Clinton and the surrounding communities through the construction of a Radiation Oncology facility on the GVMH main campus. GVMH has significantly invested in bringing cancer treatment options to their patients. However, the communities they serve have a growing and unyielding need for comprehensive cancer care services. A Radiation Oncology facility will allow patients to receive expert care close to home, see familiar specialists and staff and help relieve the anxiety and physical challenges of traveling miles away to receive treatment.
This 5,000 square foot facility will house a linear accelerator – one of the most sophisticated radiation technologies available. Utilizing a strategic public/private partnership approach that leverages private philanthropy with public and legislative support, GVMH is on track to surpass their $6,000,000 philanthropic target.
