Client Success Story: SAVE, Inc. Designated as 2021 recipient of Pride Night at the K!

Congratulations to our client, SAVE, Inc. and their PRIDE Haven program for being the 2021 recipient of Pride Night at the K! Five dollars from every Pride ticket sold for the June 18th Royals game went to the Pride Haven program. SAVE, Inc.’s CEO, Blaine Proctor, accepted a $10,000 check on the baseball field from Slugger himself.

SAVE, Inc. provides permanent, transitional, and emergency housing assistance to Kansas City’s most vulnerable populations. They believe that housing is a basic human right and work daily towards a world free of homelessness and housing discrimination. Their PRIDE Haven program is an overnight shelter for transition-aged youth (18-24) facing homelessness. They provide a safe and accepting space that offers a welcoming and affirming environment for all youth. Their services include case management, budget planning, job assistance, medical referrals, and a plethora of other resources. The money received from Pride Night at the K will go towards the continuation of this program and the work to ensure safe and accepting housing for all in the Kansas City community.

Byrne Pelofsky + Associates has worked with SAVE, Inc. for the past five years. We have assisted them in writing numerous grants on the private, city, county, and state level. We have also provided general consulting, which includes introductions to area funders, timing assistance and a variety of other fundraising recommendations. Byrne Pelofsky is honored to be a part of SAVE, Inc.’s mission and extend congratulations to their PRIDE Haven program on its recognition on Pride Night at the K!
