Giving USA 2019 with Dr. Patrick Rooney

Part of the Nonprofit Connect 501 (c) Success National Speaker Series,
sponsored by Byrne Pelofsky + Associates and Bank of America

For more than 60 years, nonprofit leaders, fundraisers and donors have relied on the comprehensive giving data in Giving USA: The Annual Report on Philanthropy. The research in this annual report estimates all giving to charitable organizations across the United States.

Byrne Pelofsky + Associates is proud to partner with Bank of America and Nonprofit Connect in bringing Dr. Patrick Rooney back to Kansas City as he shares that coveted first look at giving data for 2018 and provides critical observations and interpretations about the state of philanthropy in the U.S.

Dr. Rooney is Executive Associate Dean for Academic Programs and Professor of Economics and Philanthropic Studies at the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. Learn more about Dr. Rooney’s extensive experience here.

This will be our 14th year of presenting the report with Dr. Rooney in Kansas City. Of special interest in the report this year is how the giving landscape may have been impacted by the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.  Will the 2018 growth in charitable giving continue?  Reserve your spot, and be one of the first to know.
