Byrne Pelofsky is delighted to report that our client, University of Central Missouri (UCM), recently received a $100,000 gift from the Robert E. Oliphant Charitable Foundation Trust to support their capital campaign to restore and revitalize UCM’s iconic Hendricks Hall. James W. Pollard, Co-Trustee & UCM alum (left) presented the gift to Courtney Goddard, UCM Vice President of Advancement (right), and Byrne Pelofsky’s Barbara Bloch facilitated the bequest.
In conjunction with the centennial milestone of Hendricks Hall, built in 1923, UCM is making a $3,800,000 investment in its largest classroom and performance arts venue. The 1923 Austin Pipe organ will be restored as well as the original ornate ceiling which features architected moldings, cornices and medallions currently underneath a dropped acoustical ceiling. It will be updated with audio visual technology with a goal to transform this iconic hall into an engineered, state-of-the-art facility for the performing arts.
