We are thrilled to announce Jeffrey Byrne + Associates, Inc. and Pelofsky & Associates, Inc. have merged to form Byrne Pelofsky + Associates, LLC (Byrne Pelofsky).

Our new firm, Byrne Pelofsky, will further our vision to provide uncommon local, regional and national leadership in philanthropy. Jeffrey Byrne + Associates was founded in 2000 in Kansas City and emerged as a nationally-recognized fundraising and financial development firm specializing in building organizational capacity and conducting major gift, capital and endowment campaigns solely for nonprofit organizations. Prior to the merger, JB+A had helped more than 350 nonprofits raise more than $1,500,000,000. JB+A was among a select group of fundraising consulting firms in the country to be accepted into The Giving Institute, an 80-year old national professional association most recognized for embodying the values of ethics, excellence and leadership in advancing philanthropy.
Jeffrey Byrne’s fundraising experience spans three decades and he is recognized for his distinctive client-focused philosophy to fundraising. Jeffrey is a frequent guest speaker at workshops and conferences across the United States. He and his team have deep experience in a variety of nonprofit sectors including social services, healthcare, senior living, arts and culture.
Pelofsky & Associates was founded by Brenda Pelofsky in 2002 and is well-recognized in both public and private sectors and among community-based organizations, having worked closely with nonprofits, government agencies and legislators in grants, resource development and special events. The team is recognized for its “roll-up-the-sleeves” style of helping organizations develop their fundraising staff and successfully obtain funding.
Lisa Pelofsky began her career on Capitol Hill as a Congressional staffer. Following a stint in Washington, DC., she returned to Kansas City and worked for a number of nonprofit agencies as Director of Development, where she raised millions of dollars. In 2002, she joined Pelofsky & Associates and became the CEO in 2010. Lisa has also been an active in the community as a board member of a number of organizations as well as an appointee for the Kansas City Board of Police Commissioners and as a task force member on issues at the county Corrections Center.
