Lake Regional Health Foundation

When families were stricken by cancer in Osage Beach and surrounding Lake of the Ozarks communities, the hardships surrounding the disease were magnified by the nearly 100-mile, round-trip journey to the nearest cancer center.  An overwhelming desire to bring healing treatment closer to home resulted in a capital campaign led by Lake Regional Hospital Foundation.  

Jeffrey Byrne + Associates, Inc. is proud to have partnered with Lake Regional Hospital Foundation in its campaign to build a comprehensive cancer treatment center providing radiation therapy for Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri.

The campaign began in March 2002 and was capped with the completion of a Radiation Therapy Center in May 2004. Contributions totaling $3.7 million exceeded the original goal of $3.2 million, due to the generosity, commitment and hard work of local residents and community leaders.

Today, Lake Regional Hospital is accredited by the Community Hospital Cancer Program and provides full-continuum cancer care services in the Lake of the Ozarks area.  State-of-the-art treatment methods and high-quality care, coupled with the comforts of home and familiar surroundings, aid in the recovery process of those battling cancer — treating the whole person, not just the disease.
