The College of Arts and Science is the Art and Soul of Mizzou:

  • The College is the oldest and largest division of the University
  • Arts and Science professors teach 60 percent of the courses taken by undergraduate students at MU
  • The College provides its more than 10,000 undergraduate and graduate students with liberal-education programs in fine and performing arts, humanities and social and natural sciences
  • The University’s elite status as one of only 34 public universities in the Association of American Universities (AAU) helps it attract and retain its outstanding faculty

It is an exciting time for the College – and our network of Kansas City Alumni and Friends will continue to play an important role in its growth and sustainability.
