JB+A is proud to announce its client partner, Horizon Academy, has recently surpassed its Rays of Success campaign goal of $1.5 million! Because of the generosity of its gracious donors, Horizon Academy raised $1.59 million dollars for student scholarships, teacher training and programs and facility renovations.

Dedicated parents concerned about the progress of their children in traditional schools led to the creation of Horizon Academy. Combining advice received from national educational consultants, research from Midwest Research Institute and input from local parents, educators and physicians, Horizon Academy first opened its doors to 12 students in September of 1999.
Horizon Academy specializes in helping children with learning disabilities. This unique educational institution is designed to provide an environment where children can experience academic success. Through innovative instructional programs and the individual attention of highly qualified staff, Horizon Academy provides the only program of its kind in the Kansas City Area.
