New Client Partner Announcement: Invisible Hands

Nov 19, 2020

Byrne Pelofsky is excited to announce our new client partnership with Invisible Hands, a nonprofit organization based in New York City. Invisible Hands delivers groceries and other essential items to populations especially vulnerable to COVID-19. The organization began as a Facebook post – an offer from three twenty-somethings to help neighbors pick up groceries as COVID-19 began to spread throughout New York City. In just three months, Invisible Hands organized over 10,000 volunteers and delivered over $1,000,000 in food, medicine, and other necessities throughout New York City, Long Island, Westchester, New Jersey, and Philadelphia.

Now, Invisible Hands is committed to expanding their free services to communities that need it the most. Byrne Pelofsky is working with Invisible Hands to capitalize on their rapid growth by securing much needed grant funding and launching a fundraising/major gifts campaign. A solid fundraising infrastructure will help fund Invisible Hands’ operational costs like purchasing protective gear to distribute to volunteers, performing community outreach, and maintaining their digital infrastructure.

“We are thrilled to work with Byrne Pelofsky on growing the reach of Invisible Hands,” says Liam Elkins, Co-Founder of Invisible Hands. “So far, their guidance in navigating the grant application process and their ability to uncover fundraising potential in our volunteers and community has really propelled us forward in a short amount of time. We’re excited to see where Invisible Hands goes from here.”
