It’s time to eat! Whether you dine-in or carry out, this is the week to support your favorite family-owned restaurant as it’s Restaurant Week in KC. It’s also a great way to try a new venue. Twenty three of the 200 participating businesses are new to the event. This year’s benefactor is a Byrne Pelofsky client and friend, Guadalupe Centers. Every time you dine at one of the participating restaurants, a portion of the proceeds will benefit this thriving community asset.
Guadalupe Centers will use the KCRW funds to support its Catering Services, a program providing healthy, nutritious meals and food to vulnerable individuals and families in the KCMO metro area, including vulnerable seniors, many homebound and others who will participate in the senior congregate meals when they officially reopen, and students within the Guadalupe Charter Schools. Through their various program offerings, Guadalupe Centers offer support to 12,000 Kansas City LatinX clients, most of whom have been disproportionately impacted by COVID-19.
Restaurant Week goes through Sunday, January 23 and all participants offer multi-course, specially- crafted menus ranging from $15-$45 for lunch and dinner selections. So, Let’s Eat! A link to participating restaurants is here.
