Client Success Story: Independence Police Department Receives $400,000 U.S. Department of Justice Grant

Byrne Pelofsky is delighted to announce that our client, the Independence Police Department (IPD), was awarded a grant through the US Department of Justice to deploy 200 body worn cameras, with an implementation start-date goal of January 2024. The grant funding also includes three additional positions, one commissioned, and two non-commissioned that are dedicated to supporting the equipment, infrastructure, and management of digital media. The implementation of the body worn camera program is part of the IPD’s commitment to transparency, maintaining community trust, and supporting their Officers.

Congratulations to the IPD. If you have questions about Byrne Pelofsky’s grant writing and federal grant writing services, get in touch at 816.237.1999 or info@byrnepelofsky.com
