Client Success Story: KCK Community Education, Health & Wellness Center Receives $12,000,000 in State of Kansas American Rescue Plan Act Funds

We are thrilled to announce that our client, Kansas City Kansas Community College (KCKCC), received $12,00,000 in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds from the State of Kansas for the construction of the KCK Community Education, Health & Wellness Center. Making record investments in higher education, workforce and economic development was a priority for Governor Kelly in her most recent state appropriations budget, and we are grateful to the Governor for recognizing KCKCC and their important efforts in workforce development for Wyandotte County.

“This budget delivers on promises I made when I was first elected, including investing in our economic development tools and funding higher education,” Governor Kelly said in her April 20 press release.  “The budget restores higher education funding and makes significant one-time investments in need-based aid, deferred maintenance, and workforce development through community and tech college funding.”
